As the curtain begins to fall on another fantastic Long Course season, we’re proud to reflect on what has been an exciting and successful year for swimming across the Darling Downs.

Throughout the season, our swimmers have competed with determination, sportsmanship, and incredible talent across a number of key meets.

From the energy and competition at the Toowoomba Championships, to the pride of performance at the Country Championships, the fast-paced racing of the Short Course Championships, and the season-ending Regional Championships — it has been a year to remember.

Today, we are excited to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our Age Champions from each of these meets.

These swimmers have demonstrated consistency, dedication, and outstanding performances in the pool, and we congratulate each and every one of them.

While the Regional Championships do not award Age Champions, they represent the pinnacle of our competitive season and showcase the very best of our region.

From this meet, we are proud to highlight our major annual award winners — including our prestigious Swimmer of the Year and Rising Star awards.

To celebrate the season and honour these outstanding achievements, we will be hosting our annual DDRSA Presentation Dinner on May 23 at Rumours International.

This special evening will bring together our swimming community to recognise the hard work, commitment, and success of our athletes.

Tickets will be going on sale shortly, so keep an eye on your inbox over the coming days for the official invitation and ticket purchase details.

Congratulations once again to all of our swimmers, coaches, officials, and families for making this season such a success. We look forward to celebrating with you all soon.
